Perfection
Be Silent ~ Be True ~ Just Be
Vestiges of a manifest self,
Long forgotten,
Writes words
Better left
Unsaid.
Some truths are better left untold,
Or risk obscuring the true
That cannot be told.
True is an act of being
Not telling.
So I remind the vestigial self,
”Be silent.”

Be mindful of what you think;
your thoughts will be spoken.

A few friends of mine and I were having a rough go of it. Love, work, friends and family — circumstances — all these and more seemed to be making every effort to diminish us.

This poem began with just the first line and the idea that being a spiritual being comes down to ‘bridging the gaps’ between body, mind and soul. As three became one, One grew into a paean to the ongoing global spiritual awakening.
Some random thoughts on truth and being true…
I no longer put much stock in "the truth". That phrase predisposes us to notions of an objective reality (one that exists without imagination , one that is permanent, unchanging, eternal. Truth is a fiction established as fact through reason.
